Human Intelligence

All our bags (The Póca & The Danu) and Accessories are designed by me, a human. All designs start as pencil drawings...well, truth be told, most started as doodles...then morph into a drawing. I then use a black marker to go over my pencil marks, so that I can scan it into the computer, as I need to send a copy along with technical specifications to our manufacturer in Portugal.

Una Healy has set up Hi From A Human to celebrate authentic work designed by humans 😊Una worked in the design sector for her entire career, and she can see the rapidly changing landscape that so many creative people are now navigating. While AI is a fantastic tool and has many amazing uses, Una designed this Human Intelligence mark, to reflect the uniqueness of the human ‘creative’ process, the essence being, that concepts and ideas come from human intelligence, rather than a computer-generated base.

So, as a small voice in a digital jungle, we here at Póchette Design, wanted to join Una in keeping the heart of human creativity beating strong! So, I'm letting everyone know that each bag is designed by a human 💜
